Car advice
May. 11th, 2004 07:53 pmOK. So I'm going to start working on selling Unseelie's car again. When it gets sold, I get all the money, and it gets subtracted from the money he owes me. If it hasn't sold by late May, the title will be transferred to me while I'm on break and have time to do all that stuff, and then I'll probably keep on trying to sell it.
If you think that I should just keep the car and drive it into the ground so I can practice driving in a "junker," please comment and say so. My current take on the whole driving thing is that it is more expensive (and annoying, what with parking) than it is worth, and in 1.5 years I can rent cars, and join city car share, and pick my driving skills back up when that time comes.
My other option is to use it to trade-in on a used or new car, but dealership cars are just so expensive, that really doesn't seem like the best route.
I'm also looking for advice on my car ad, which I'm going to be posting on Craigslist. I expect I'll start at a high price and lower it every few weeks, but if you think this price is unreasonably high to start with, please let me know.
( the ad as it stands )
