Squee!

My brother is visiting San Francisco for a long weekend! I'm totally excited!

For those that don't know, he's a cool raver boy who has been known to go to nudist parties and more. He specifically wants to take some time to get to know me better on this visit.

I'm so excited! Now I just have to wait for the last weekend of July, and route my travel plans around that.

iTunes

The iTunes Music Store is both a wondrous and horrible thing.

I just downloaded 36 songs. But they are all GOOD songs I really like! So that makes it ok, right?

A visit to one of the piercing shops on the haight reinforces to me what a great shop tribal ways is. I wonder if there's anywhere here in SF that is that clean?

A visit to the Haight Ashbury Clinic reminds me how many cool, giving folks live in SF.

Ran into an old old ex housemate (from the first house I lived in here). He's also moved, and he is ALSO teaching high school now! Twas interesting. :)

My students did ok on the most recent chemistry test. Class average of 82.5% if you count the extra credit three students got. I wish more had done that well though! Still, half of the class got a B- or better, which seems reasonable to me.

Piercings

OK. I've reached a very sad conclusion. The left nipple has migrated. It's almost at the tip. If I leave it, it'll migrate all the way out and I'll have an open wound on the tip.

I've gotten used to the nipple rings, and I really LIKE having them. So I have a number of questions. Some of you may be able to answer them, so I'm writing them down here.

1. The right nipple doesn't appear to be migrating, but it is crooked. If I'm going to take the left one out, should I just take the right one out too, let it grow in, and try again some other time?
   
2. If it migrated once, will it necessarily migrate the next time?
   
3. How long do I have to wait to try again?
   
4. Anything else I should know?
