Being a doofus, I just spent thirty minutes fucking around with the Avatar Builder. Of course, it doesn't seem to want to email my finished product to me.

And I'm kind of curious what other people will choose for me if I ask them to build me an avatar. So the website is here:

(no subject)

Tired... slept poorly and too little last night. Woke up early to snag an interview for the article that was due today and then napped again.

School was quiet... there was a drama production today that made teaching the class pointless. The plays were good. Some of those students are damned good actors.

Hightailed it home and finished the article and sent it in. At that point I should have gone out to get some screws and a printer cartridge, but I felt so shitty I took a 45 minute nap.

Now I've had dinner and I'm sort of watching this weird movie called Killing Zoe. Damn my housemate has some weird movies. :)

I also just bought something from my Amazon Gold Box for the first time. I'd been wanting a good set of knives for the base for a while, and today, a good set came up. It wasn't a wussy coupon either -- $12 off an $80 set, and free shipping. So soon I will have sharp shiny things. Wee!

Dude. This movie is fucked up, yo.

Cellphone data plans

Cellphone data plans are very confusing.

When I roll over my plan with Verizon or switch to ATT, I will be signing up for whatever will allow me to email, IM, etc. on my phone. If Verizon DOES start carrying the treo 600, how will I choose which one to stay with? Probably Verizon, but I still want to understand my options. And unfortunately, the data plans are very poorly described on the websites.

I'm also still being somewhat of an angst bunny about the phone itself. Verizon is now offering the kyocera 7135 for $400 (with a rebate and 2 year plan). ATT has the Treo for $500. And who knows, maybe something new and nifty is about to come out...
