Ding dong, the donuts are dead
May. 19th, 2005 12:26 pmI just killed my donuts story. It was lame. It was making my head hurt. So I killed it and didn't even ask for a kill fee. They have no Technology specialist on staff right now though, so they'd really love for me to pitch stories in the future. And, I do have a few ideas for stories sometime soon, which I'll deal with AFTER this weekend.
I have my physical today (finally!), so I'm working from home. My supervisor is taking tomorrow off, and Monday I'm supposedly working from home to make up for the day off for the wedding Friday.
So, what this really means, is that between now and when I go to sleep Monday, I need to have the bulletin done and sent into the supervisor. Other than that, I'm free. This is both stressful and relieving at the same time, if that makes any sense.
Of course, this weekend I also have to write the freelance article about the watch, clean the house, host a wedding shower and attend a bachelorette. So, still busybusy. All the while, trying to stay on top of Administrivial Tasks.
Weee! Not stressed, yet. Really!
Edit: Y'know, if I can just focus and get Loads done today, I can relax and ENJOY the events this weekend. Sounds like a good plan to me!
