Group trip goodness
Nov. 16th, 2004 12:51 amGroup trips are cool, and as a group, we can rent HUGE suites, which may have amenities such as kitchens and hot tubs, and wind up with prices in the $50/night/person range, with everyone still getting a couch or bed to sleep in. In Vegas, we had 14 people in the suite (legally), and 10 bed and couch spots. With two air mattresses everyone could have had a bed; likewise if we'd managed to get one of the suites with two beds per bedroom, 14 would have been in beds without air mattresses. Another 16 people stayed in separate rooms for more privacy, and we had two jaccuzis which comfortably fit about 4.
I think these are a good idea. They give us an excuse to travel to the places we already wanted to go to. So, how about you, do you want to join me in travel (at least, theoretically)?
Edit ooops, apologies for leaving out options such as "I'm free all the time due to not working or a flexible work schedule" as an option. My bad.
