Back emergency
Nov. 15th, 2004 11:40 pmMy back has informed me that it ain't having no more of that.
I've taken two aleve, but moving around still hurts.
I believe it has been brought on by bad posture, most especially when sitting on couches and working, compounded by carrying too much weight too frequently in backpacks. My father has a bad back. Edit Oh, and I'm apparently bigger in the front than I thought -- I'm a 38DD, and actually measure closer to a 39, and bulge a little out of a 38DD. That's definitely in the "back problems" region.
I don't know what I can do to help it, other than avoid carrying heavy things and bending over too much (although bending through the knees will aggravate my bad knees; I can't win).
I don't know if a massage would help, if icing would help, hell, if chiropracty would help. Hopefully, a good night's sleep will banish the constant pain, but I don't doubt that the pain will come back promptly if I try to carry anything heavy. Will building back muscle help?
