Political action post

So, supposedly Republicans are pushing a bill with some stuff hidden in it which would legalize the deportation of suspected terrorists to other countries in order to be tortured. Or maybe I'm misreading this...

I want to try to rationalize it as a present to myself for my birthday, or something... I imagine there's $100 in my birthday card from my parents. Or maybe a birthday present + congratulations for finishing a contract I'm going to finish today. But my birthday and that contract don't change my dire financial circumstances...
