I wanted to journal just to thank everyone for their kindness after my unhappy post yesterday.

I spoke with several people last night, and some misconceptions were cleared up. No one asked anyone to speak to me on their behalf; someone was confused about context and details and thought it would be reasonable to do so nonetheless. Zie has learned from hir mistakes. (dude, I need to work on my genderless grammar)

In other news, I am definitely not a fan of being forced out of a warm bed where your love is snuggling up to you adorably earlier than you expected to be. No fun.

Things I have trouble dealing with that I should get over...

...other people having misconceptions about me.

I DON'T deal well with other people having a different conception of me than mine, unless it is so far off base that it is funny. But there's nothing I can do about this sort of thing, and little I can do to prevent people from getting weird ideas about me. So I need to get over this. Anyone have any magic pills?
