I almost forgot that I also have to arrange banking!

Bah. Banking is always a big nuisance.

Good Stuff

(1) My bedding was at the Palo Alto post office. Thanks to jrpseudonym for driving me there to pick it up. This also includes hangers, two books (one irreplaceable), a pillow and a blanket, all of which will be useful to me. Score! I still will need to buy at least one more pillow so that people can sleep over, but still, this is quite an improvement.
(2) I realized that one of the reasons I feel so jittery is that I really am unhappy living on the Stanford campus. Living in that house makes me feel almost the same as living with my parents. I feel like it is not my life, it is this moment outside of my life. I don't feel like an adult, like an independent being. I don't feel free to do as I would want to.
I am hoping that once I live in SF, that will change. I will be in a good area for food and recreation, and close to public transportation which doesn't suck (except for ending early at night). I will be living MY life again, moving forward in it, instead of taking a break from it that I'm not even enjoying.
