evergrey commented at one point that $25/hour is not enough for a graphic artist.

So what is?

I'm thinking of having a sweetie design my business cards, and want to pay her fairly.

I would say double that would be a good starting range. If you think about it, a business card is just layout, which really should take very little time...unless they are creating a logo for you. Then you could get into a few hours. I would start at $50 an hour though.

Yeah for me a business card would be about 20-30 minutes of work. If designed a logo by hand then add another 15 minutes.
