Housing: Square one, again
Jan. 17th, 2006 02:58 pmThe house in Mississauga is a no go.
And I've heard nothing from the co-operative at Jarvis and Dundas...
Looks like I'm back to either finding a housemate to search with, or a bachelors, or moving into an existing household. The Crossways currently has a two bedroom available March 1 or 15 for $1200 inclusive, and a bachelor for $700 inclusive; this includes AC and a pool. The complex I'm eyeing at Islington and Bloor has a two bedroom available immediately for $1095 inclusive, and a 3 bedroom April 1 for $1300 inclusive, and it has a pool, a gym, and a squash and racquetball court. They have no bachelors available, however, and even if they did, it would be $795/month, which is a bit steep even if it includes a gym membership.
Bah humbug.
This is not upsetting me as much as it could, I guess in part because I hadn't put all that much effort into it yet.
Toronto housing, why do you hate me so?

Date: 2006-01-17 09:22 pm (UTC)So, I guess I should talk to your friend. I'm concerned to levels of outness in the house as she described it, but I should talk to her and see where it's at. Is all the info in the email you sent me? If not, send me more info.
