Arisia: carpooling/travel date debate

I want to be at Arisia and then an After Party. Thus, I need to be in Boston Friday afternoon/evening through late Sunday night.
The options:
-AY might be interested/available for carpooling... but I have no idea if she'd be up for staying through Sunday, so I dunno if this would work for me, and it may turn out to not even be an option.
-$430 including tax and fees (CAD) to fly direct from Toronto Pearson Airport. This is tempting, and would give me vastly more flexibility in my plans.
-YOU: yes, you, you could carpool with me, whoever you are. I can drive for small stretches of time (2 hours is a record for me but I'm willing and eager to stretch this boundary), and contribute significant amounts to gas if need be
The usual kickers/limitations/factors:
-if I drive with someone, it means less time in Boston or more time away from work, or a bit of both, but it is cheaper.
-if I fly, it means less time away from work, or more time in Boston, or a bit of both, but it is more expensive.
-I can do none of these things until I can confirm days off, which would be Jan. 2 at the earliest, so if you're interested in carpooling, speak before then or hold your peace
-if I try to arrange to stay here longer, I'll have to arrange crash space, which could be difficult
So yeah. That's the long and short of it, for the time being. Next I'll have to address Ad Astra and TO Kink.
