Boston Crashspace

Here's the deal. I very much am hoping to get my ass to Boston for XMas. However, futabachan and A have not been getting back to me, sadly, about when exactly they are leaving for Boston and when they are returning.

Which makes it really hard to ask for crash space, but here I am trying anyway. I know its a weird season and people's families will be visiting and it may not be the best time to have a house guest, but does anyone have crash space they can offer me? I'm guessing we'd be arriving either late late late Wed the 21, or sometime Thursday the 22. Slim possibility of arriving Friday the 23. And we'd be leaving sometime the next week; I'm not quite sure when, to be honest.

sunspiral and roozle? Anyone else? I'm willing to purchase and bring an air mattress if there's no couch/bed space available.

If not, I'll see you all at Arisia, because I'll be at Arisia even if I have to buy a plane ticket to get my butt there.

Either way, recall my lack of driving experience. I CAN rent a car, but I'm NOT willing to be the only driver on a trip that long. Unless you can find at least one if not two other people who drive, this would not work.

woohoo! Let there be Boston... I do have offers of other crash space in bits and pieces, but no one but you who could put me up for most or all of the visit.

Now I just need to corner futabachan and A to get details, and of course, talk to work about days off.

I'm going to see if we can get Thursday off in addition to Friday. If so, the plan would be to drive east on Wednesday evening (12/21), stop in Palenville overnight and for a Yule ritual, and to get to Boston late Thursday or (more likely) early Friday.

We're planning to stay through the 28th, and come back then.
