Ren Faire decision and my day

danaerisUnless we get a really bad review of it from friends tonight, Unseelie and I are going to the Ren Faire in Novato tomorrow---that's in Marin County.

We will probably not be getting there until noon at the earliest.
The day so far has been really awesome with a few disappointments. Slept in late (yay!), got some stuff done, had a driver's lesson. Noticeable improvement. Yay! Went on the high way for the first time. Yay!
Met with Inki and went to pick up the furniture. I forgot to change into shorts, and that was a big mistake. It was HOT out today! Disappointment when we got there. That chick (insert other word there...) sold the smaller dresser and nightstand. But her boyfriend informed me that they were particle board and not worth the $40 anyway. He gave me back half of my deposit, and so for $20 I walked away with that huge beautiful antique dresser. It has two drawers with issues, so I'll have to be careful with it until I figure out how to get it repaired. Also, the mirror is beautiful, but to high for me, unless I get a stool. :(
Inki and I got it into my room, cooled off, said hi to Kat, and then went out for lunch to Herbivore. Mmm.

Now I've unpacked a whole bunch more, and then I'm going to eat leftovers from dinner last night and head to Unseelie's to cuddle some and stuff before we head to Wicked City. *bounce*
