Holy Moly makeover batman!

My parents have been talking about painting the hallway FOREVER. I began to think it would never happen, and they didn't necessarily seem to be making any progress towards settling on a colour or planning when to do it.

I walked in the door at about midnight tonight and the hallway was pink.

PINK! PINK EVERYWHERE! Oh, the humanity of it all!

OK, to be fair, I told them they needed to choose a rose. I meant a dustier, less bright rose, but a rose nonetheless. They wanted to match the fancy bench they bought for the hallway, and pink was the colour that would best match it while still brightening things.

This pink is more pink, and brighter, than I would have chosen... but considering how very pink it could have been, it is actually quite acceptable.


That doesn't change the shock of walking in to discover a pink hallway where previously, there was a white hallway. My father was apparently a busy boy today! He should have waited till I could help him on Sunday.

Anyhow, goodnight to you all. Tomorrow is a packed day for me, and so I must rest myself well in preparation. :)

But it's pink... how BAD can that possibly be... I couldn't think of anything more surprising to find something painted.... other than black of course.
