Firefly (no spoilers)

I know most of you consider Firefly old hat, but I've been watching it in sequential order for the first time.

I just saw Heart of Gold.

Wow. I don't know why, but I feel about the same as I did at the end of HP6 when you-know-what happened.

It really is a tragedy that this show was cancelled. I get one more episode, and the movie, and that ends it for us all. *sob*

i don't know about old hat. not for me, at least. i love the show, and "objects in space" may very well be my favourite episode.

i'm still hopeful that after the movie does well, either the show will continue or we'll be seeing more movies in the future.

They're showing Firefly leading into the movie. I don't believe it's going to see more rotation than that.

It may not end for us. The actors in the film are all optioned for three.

And while I know something about the film that makes a trilogy seem...unlikely...it's not impossible, Joss has done it before. So don't lose all hope. :)
