Well, there goes my brain, into the 8th dimension.

I just had a wave of irritation towards a friend of mine for not attending Baitcon.

I'm not attending Baitcon. Nor have I ever attended Baitcon.

I have no idea why I would think that she should. Sure, its a cool crowd and I bet she'd have a blast. But still. WTF, Danae?

This reminds me of the time when I was PMS-ing, and I was upset with my friend, V, becaues the pad of paper on the round kitchen table was at the wrong angle. I almost started yelling at her before reason asserted itself, and I realized that she hadn't touched the pad of paper, and that even if she had, it didn't matter.

I wonder what's causing it? (your opinions are welcome)
-being on Alesse
-being on Alesse but not taking a break to bleed every month (instead, every three months)
-Paxil withdrawal (although I've been sticking to 20 mg for nearly two weeks now)
-other

So, if dubious things are supposed to be taken with a grain of salt, does that mean I should go dive in the dead sea? (that one is rhetorical, although witty repartee is welcome)

I'm not attending Baitcon, either. I'm irritated at myself about that. And so are others.

So if, instead of being irritated at her, you want to be irritated at me, you could do that. Then you'd be in a group of people irritated at me, instead of inexplicably irritated all on your own! So it won't be nearly as inexplicable! :-)

Hee. Thanks for making me laugh. I needed that. Smiling makes things better, even if only for a little while!

That picture is so cute, btw (your icon).

that was taken at the atlanta party around 5pm on Sunday at Gaylaxicon. As Alan Lutton ([livejournal.com profile] esprix was taking the picture, he suddenly exclaimed "OH MY GOD! THE CUTE! THE CUTE! It's killing me!" And unlike most pictures of me, I actually have to agree, it is pretty darned cute. Surprises me every time.

for what it's worth

Speaking from personal experience (not with Paxil specifically, but with similar drugs), roughly 5-6 days after a dosage change I would spend 2-3 days prone to the kind of behavior you're describing. And it's apparently not too unusual for some people to have such reactions up to 3 weeks after a dosage change.
