-I'm moving into my new place beginning sort of on Saturday and finishing by Tuesday, possibly Monday
-I'll have my own fucking bed
-itching is slightly better due to the profuse use of moisturizer
-we now have 3 going on 4 prospects for our housing
-we may get a rent decrease of up to $400
-I got driven to work and am being driven home from work tonight
Cons:
-I'm still living somewhere I'm not happy for the next little while
-I need more furniture than just a bed to make my new place feel like a home
-itching is still there
-each of the three prospects we have interviewed is at the bottom of SOMEONE'S preference list. We have one last person to interview tonight, and then we really need to make a decision
-we're still waiting for a rent decrease, no idea when or if it will come through, and really need it to score a cool person for the open spot
-My carpool can only drive me to work Monday and Wednesday mornings, and doesn't WANT to be driving me home those days. Considering that some Tuesdays I'll be staying in the South Bay for Buffy night, that's almost like having no carpool at all.
OK, so the housemate suck and moving suck will be over soon. But the commuting suck will last for a good monthish. Unless I miraculously schedule and pass a driving test Real Soon AND acquire a car and legal insurance etc.
I'm just so disappointed in everything. Things were looking so good... I was moving in to a household I envisioned as being a home---but with the wrong person it won't be---, I had a carpool...
