Offhand, I'd say that you, like I, unabashedly hit the 'add as friend' button, and probably read rather quickly.
It probably also implies that many of the people you know through other means, have LiveJournals.

Pretty much same here... 100 friends, friend of83 (+/-3 cant rememmer zactly)
in my case it seems to be mostly people who rarely check their journals, or just rarely check to see if someone added them to list.
