Jun. 19th, 2005 10:42 amA well-rested Danae is a happy Danae. *content*
Hot date was indeed hot. Next date we may just skip the movie and spend some quality time in private. ;)
Searching for housing was somewhat abortive so we're trying again today, so I'm still in TO, heading home sometime today.
The stupid guy on the poly list? Still claiming our ad was for companions rather than housemates. More and more people are speaking up and saying that they disagree. Both polybear and myself have written and sent emails and people are asking Mark (the stupid guy) to drop the matter. *crosses fingers*
I took my last hormone (provera) pill Thursday night. I still haven't bled. I'm trying not to be anxious about this, but I'm really wondering what a normal lag time is. I suppose being barren would simplify my life... but, I'd rather not be. Edit: A website says you should have bleeding 3-7 days after you stop taking Provera. So, I guess today is day 3. Still very within the realm of normal.
I apparently snore a lot. I'm embarrassed. How can I avoid this?

Date: 2005-06-19 03:21 pm (UTC)You could just say "if you misunderstood me, oh well, not my problem. We're not looking for partners, the end." Ignore anything he says on the subject after that, or ridicule him. :-)

There is an operation you can have, iirc, but it'll depend on how bad it is. There are also nose straps and stuff. Talk to your doctor.

Dealing with snoring
Date: 2005-06-19 03:47 pm (UTC)b) "Breathe-right" strips and the like.
c) Earplugs for people who share your bed.
d) Lose weight.
e) Theoretically, an operation.
(As someone who finds it hard to get to sleep when someone's snoring, I've had a fair amount of success with a-c for people sharing my bed.)

I'll get it to you at some point soon, although you might have to ransom it from me. ;)
