There was a weekend. It was good.

I have thoughts. Reminders that everyone I tend to hang out with does too much metacognition are good.

Geeking out on intentional communities, also good.

Meeting more cool people, spending quality time with the ones I already know... I'm a very lucky girl. Although grumpy, and occasionally paranoid (hence, metacognition), I've been very happy since last weekend. Just... I wake up, and lie in bed, and I feel like I'm dancing in my head. There isn't any music, but I'm dancing, all the same.

Also thoughts about: sustainable poly living, real estate, the next step in my life, etc.

I'm a happy cabbit. Good times, new friends, and approval to continue seeing a certain pretty lady. *squee* [livejournal.com profile] aberrantvirtue, [livejournal.com profile] neeuqdrazil, you guys should meet each other. Too bad you're at opposite ends of the continent. Mmm. Pretty girls. *bouncysqueehappysighdroolsmile*

There are also cute boys, but at present, I have no indications of being on any of their radars as anything but a fun person to socialize with. That's ok. One thing at a time, I suppose!

Regarding sustainable living: if you've not yet done so, read Natural Capitalism (http://www.natcap.org/). It's a fantasic book of essays on the topics of sustainable development in housing, industry, farming and so on. Brilliant read, and highly recommended.
