Amusing headlines
May. 11th, 2005 11:58 pmAlso, some fluff:
Today, a number of scienceblog headlines were making me giggle. Based on the icons going next to posts nowadays, I suspect whoever is in charge of science blog now has an interesting sense of humour.
Here are some of them, for your amusement. And then, I will sleep, or attempt to.
Self-replicating robots on the loose in NY
Mini-belches from the Sun
Monkeys' Brains See Robot Arms as Their Own
Lady fish likes well-endowed males
Herpes virus may one day fight brain tumors
American salamander in Korea tells 100 million-year-old tale
Glowing mutant mouse could advance disease research
Bizarre fear of falling strikes middle-aged Blacks
If you want to read any of the actual articles, you can find them at www.scienceblog.com
The amusing images, btw, include things like pictures of flared bell bottom pants next to an article about solar flares, and pictures of fake magicians performing levitation next to articles with a headline using the word levitation. Very cute.
