Brief update

I may simply crash when I get home from work, so I wanted to write a brief update before I put my nose to the grindstone (or whatever that saying is).

I had a wonderful time at Ad Astra, and met all my goals. That is, I:

• Met people I had only known on lj previously
  
• Met lots of nifty folk based in a mixture of Ottawa, Toronto, and Waterloo (many of whom were poly). *waves at them* Hi!
  
• Got laid (about time!)
  
• Went to nifty panels
  
• Found a leather worker to fix my collar
  
• Wore my pretty new corset and got pictures!
  
• Enjoyed myself
  
• Hot tubbed

I did not acquire a boyfriend or girlfriend, but I count bootie as being much more likely in the future as I get to know more and more nifty folk in the Toronto area. This could lead to a boyfriend or girlfriend, and even do so in a sane non-rushed fashion. Love is fun, but it is also a form of insanity and I'd like to avoid getting swept away too far by its insanity.

I hardly slept, however, and so, on two cans of diet cola I'm still struggling to be awake -- and have work to get done.

I'm mostly done with writing up the post about Thursday, so you'll probably see that one next. There are a number of posts I'd like to make for myself which will probably be showing up over the next N days.
