Date: 2005-04-08 05:46 am (UTC)That's awesome.
Y'know, I knew a gay jewish boy who was dating a neo-nazi skin head. It was an extremely fucked up relationship... the jewish boy was a bottom, btw. *twitch*

Date: 2005-04-08 05:48 am (UTC)Y'know, before I left SF, Quincy was at Rainbow Grocery and he saw an ad; a couple had a cat they had raised on meat substitutes and they needed to find it a new home but were only willing to give it to someone who would agree to keep it vegan. He (and I) was pretty offended by it... not only because that's tatamount to abuse, but also because, if you're going to raise a cat on a fucked up diet that's expensive and messes up their digestive system, then have the decency to keep it.

you word geek!
Date: 2005-04-08 02:31 am (UTC)On dictionary.com, the closest I found was "didascalic": "Didactic; preceptive", with different etymology.

Re: you word geek!
Date: 2005-04-08 02:51 am (UTC)I knew the word from theatre: it's the actions an actor is to perform. There is at least one play out there composed entirely of didascalia. No dialogue.

Ooo, the soundtrack? Hmm. I bet I'd like that. I'll have to listen to some of it when I'm over next. And, watch the movie and enjoy! I haven't missed it so far yet, so no worries.

Date: 2005-04-08 04:45 am (UTC)I got to play with little fuzzballs today! I ran into some gutter punks who had some baby ratties, and since I noticed them and didn't freak, they offered to let me pick up the babies. They were sooooooooo sweet!

Date: 2005-04-08 06:00 am (UTC)Oh, and I've been reading and I'm really sorry about the housemate, but I hope this works out for the best with you finding a similarly priced place in a better, greener neighbourhood. And dude, Madame Butterfly!
I miss you. If I were rich I would fly you here for a visit, and we'd take Toronto by storm. :)

Date: 2005-04-08 07:52 am (UTC)Aw, I wish I were rich and I'd fly up for a visit, and I'd take you back with me for at least a week. Well, the first one of us to get rich has to fly me up there. 8)
