Ad Astra

Clothing
So, I keep on hearing how different Ad Astra is from other cons.

Given that, I'm wondering:
(1) How much people tend to costume during the day, and at night
(2) How naughty a costume can be before you're asked to change/cover up

Tomorrow night I will be packing madly! Yay!

Of course, I feel absolutely ugly at this weight, and have a pretty limited wardrobe at the moment, so packing will probably be depressing. At least I have my Arisia aquisitions to feel pretty in.

I want to go and be the attention whore I am, but even if I AM still attractive to the average attendee, if I don't FEEL attractive, I won't shine with that confidence which so often is the attractor. Um. Yes, vicious cycle and all that.

Getting home

I have a ride there, but no ride home Sunday. Anyone know of someone who would be headed towards Hamilton, or at least could take me to a GO Station?

I've never been, though I'd like to go, but I'm too busy this year. However, an awesome friend of mine, Dawn (kaijugal) is going to be there. She's very nice and funny, so if you get to meet her, count yourself as lucky :)
