There is a new show on TLC called "It Takes A Thief" in which two former robbers try to consult a home owner about improving the security measures. They do this by staging a burglary to show what not to do.

um, wow. That's kinda special. Do you mean "confront" a home owner?

First, one person robs the house on closed-circuit TV while the other shows the footage to the home owners. Then they show the home owners how to beef up the security. It's consulting in a way.
