The vast majority of this was done yesterday. Go me! Too bad I didn't take before pictures... only my parents and
yiab know how icky the layout/mess was before.
Upon entering, you look across the room and see my greatly prized bedding. It isn't really intended for a futon like this but it is still super pretty! At its foot you can see the toybox bench I'm using for storage, decorated a-la-martha stewart. Next to it is my new backpack. Sitting at the head of the futon is Theodore Hunny Bunny, who is being kept company by Winston (named after Churchill). Winston was given to me as a gift by
lariel's boy when I was freaking out on my trip to DC. Winston is super cuddly.

Look, its a nightstand and rolly thing, which provides extra shelf and storage space! I love this nighstand with all my heart. It's the one I had growing up. I'll probably ditch the rolly thing eventually when I have more furniture, since it doesn't really fit in quite right. Next to them you can see the bookcase holding my mother's stuff, and on the adjacent wall, a mostly empty bookcase with my stuff. I haven't unpacked my books because there isn't enough room for them, and packing them again would be annoying.

The desk and hutch. I don't have a chair yet, though, so nowhere to sit at the desk. I'm probably going to use this desk like a vanity, so I need a mirror to put underneath the hutch. This was NOT my desk when I was a wee thing. It was my mother's.

I may not have a dresser, but at least the closet is BIG.

Also, check out my new icon!
