Jan. 16th, 2005 08:10 pmMy parents have a combo hdd dvr thingy on the upstairs tv. This means that I can program it to tape things for me, and then copy them to DVD with the commercials removed. Some movies I know I want. Others I've heard of but don't know if they're worth watching, let alone worth recording. Hence, I ask for your opinions. :)

Date: 2005-01-17 03:05 am (UTC)Ladyhawke is not worth the dvd its printed on for purchase, because the transfer is crap, and there are no extras (and they had been asking $25). Its a good movie, though, and if your transfer is good, fun.
Aladdin is actually worth going out and buying. It is LOADED with extras.
I love Ocean's Eleven. You can find it for $7-10 now for purchase, and the commentary with Pitt and Clooney is a riot. The movie is really fun, though, and just recording it is fine, too.

is lovely in its uncut version, but is probably a travesty if cut for less mature viewers, like they cut movies for television in the states.no subject
