Once Upon a Mattress - tomorrow night or other

Once Upon a Mattress is a fabulous re-telling of the princess and the pea story with a modern feminist twist.

42nd Street Moon is putting on a semi-professional production of it starring Lea Delaria as Princess Winnifred (also known as Fred); Delaria is a well-known dyke stand-up comedian who comes highly recommended.

They opened today and will be running through Jan. 2.

Unless I hear from folks who really really want to go but can't tomorrow night, I'll be attending tomorrow for a low-priced preview at 8 p.m.

Please let me know asap if you would like to join me tomorrow night or on some other night instead. Tickets are $17-30 for the normal tickets; dunno how much the discounted tickets for tomorrow are.

I wish I could because restructured/reinterpreted fairy tales are most definitely my thing, but I'm already scheduled to go see mitrian dance. Thanks for posting this; I will have to try to see it before it closes.
