successful day

I think I'm actually finally beginning to recover from this cold.

eastbaygreg came by and made my day with good company, good food, and good productivity. Not to mention the snuggles and cuddles.

I now have a stocked larder. The lightbulb in my overhead light has been replaced, and I now have pictures of all of the furniture I plan to sell online on Craigslist. To take those pictures I had to clear off a bunch of furniture, and then to get to bed, I had to get rid of all that stuff... so I sorted it and put it away and cleaned/dusted all of the surfaces which were newly exposed. It was kinda gross, actually.

Now I have a bag of stuff sorted for one friend, and a file set aside with things I'll need to travel back to Canada. Knowing exactly where my passports are is comforting. Oh, and a garbage bag just filled with crap I'm throwing out. :)

Hopefully tomorrow will be just as successful!

The bookstore has boxes you can have. She just got in a big shipment of books. You might want someone with a car to drop them off.

In fact, anyone arriving at 569 Valencia who says "boxes for Dana!" will be given a metric buttload of boxes and a few peanuts for her. We're open till 10pm, maybe later tonight, so come say hi.
