Date: 2004-11-19 03:53 pm (UTC)That *really* sucks. I am so sorry to hear that. You have love and support from this quarter, and many good thoughts about finding alternative income.

Date: 2004-11-19 08:12 pm (UTC)Dunno if you even want to think about teaching again, but when I was looking for employment last week, I came across this on CL, and you know the schools are virtually always looking for good math/science teachers.

Or you could consider getting a sub permit. Unfortunately the sub pool is closed for SF Unified for now, but it may re-open in the spring or you could try the private schools.

Date: 2004-11-19 08:22 pm (UTC)You are a smart cookie I am sure you will find something. On another note, I had been fired, which cleared up my stress related crapy crapy health and then I found a job I just adored. So a job you just adore could be around the corner. (oh I did have a sucky job for 6 months before the job I adored but it made me appreciate the cool one much more.)
I'll be thinking job friendly thoughts for you.
