danaerisA little bit of coughing yesterday. Then an extremely swollen lymph node (which often happens to me without any associated illness).
Today my throat is sore, my mind is clearly impaired/groggy, and lymph node is even more swollen, and my balance is kinda off. Which makes me nervous, since I have no health insurance and don't want to deal with the expense of treating an inner ear infection.
So I called in sick, making my five day weekend a six day weekend. Not that I'll "enjoy" the addition of today.
And now, back to sleep. If anyone feels compelled by a strange desire to nurse the sick, you will be admitted to the Moonbase most especially if you are carrying gifts of coldbuster smoothies or other things good for people with colds. Including hugs (which are not expected in this state, of course).
