I just had some straight Hershey's chocolate.

wow.

I'd forgotten how truly bad it is.

Or maybe, I've had a lot of good chocolate since I last had Hersheys.

But, the fact that I have a giant box of Hersheys in my kitchen is no longer a temptation in the least. w00t.

And before anyone gets all accusatory at me, I totally WOULD have made some scharffen berger hot cocoa, but alas, we're out of milk so 'twas not an option.

I think if I was between a Hershey bar, and some Scharffenberger or Ghiradelli powdered mix, I'd just have a spoonful of the powder. But it would at least be close call. *g*

The regular Hershey bar is even worse than the regular unsweetened powder. It's like cold candle wax.

Like Tandy/Realistic and its "Optimus" line, though, Hershey does produce the "Symphony" bar which, if you can find it without the chips of mostly hardened epoxy ("toffee") are quite pleasant.

That was actually edible that way. Or a smores party to get it used up?

I know...I shouldn't be finding solutions. But perhaps you could get them out of the house that way.

It was a joke. You know... "Really, Dana, I thought you knew better than to eat HERSHEYS. I don't know if you and I can be friends if you're going to put crap like that in your body. It's embarrassing."

*shrug* I certainly make jokes about being a chocolate snob, or similar things.
