So I admit that the Swan just came on on the tv, and I haven't changed the channel.
so far, although the reception sucks, I have to say that the girls in question AREN'T ugly. They don't have perfect bodies, nor perfect faces. One is somewhat plain but with the right care, clothing, etc. she could be cute. The other is really attractive but has a large hooky nose.
I think the concept wouldn't bother me so much if it didn't include plastic surgery. Or even, if the women chose the surgeries that are done to them. I think giving them LASIK if they are good candidates, and providing them with a dedicated nutritionist and fitness trainer is cool. But really, what these women REALLY need is therapy. And that's before they go through this ordeal.
Even if they removed the plastic surgery from the mix, the competition aspect is just such a horrible mindfuck.
Still, I admit that its interesting. I don't think I'd watch it again, though. Supporting an Evil Thing, y'know.
