So I went into Costco today and signed up for a business membership -- I qualify because I'm self-employed.

Costco is only 4.5 blocks from here. So even without a car, I can effectively take advantage of the membership. They also have health insurance for business members. If I can weasel my way into it, the membership will have TRULY paid off.

I bought plain sky vodka (hangover free vodka!), baileys, and kalhua there. I'll be buying the rest of my stuff at BevMo as Costco doesn't carry it and BevMo has the best price on the remaining items.

Hopefully this will work out. :)

I'm going to be presumptuous

If you ever want a ride with a a van to carry stuff or are interested in "going dutch" on items, I would be interested in doing so. My Costco card just expired and I don't have the funds (nor will I) to resub for a bit and yet we tend to get our milk, eggs, bread, cheese (especially cheese) etc., from Costco. Let me know if you ever want that ride or want to split up items that might not be as big a deal for a household your size.

Sorry to break it to you, but unless you've got some special version of Sky vodka I've not heard about, I can guarantee you from firsthand experience that it still induces hangovers. :)

And yeah, I'm kind of a bevmo fan. They have pretty darn good prices on average things, and fair prices on specialty items.

Skyy Vodka was originally marketed as a hangover free vodka. While it isn't actually hangover free, it is pretty much widely accepted as the brand of vodka with the least amount of impurities, which means that it is less likely to produce hangovers, and the hangovers are likely to be less extreme.

Most hangovers come from some combination of two causes: impurities in the alcohol, and dehydration. Skyy has virtually eliminated the impurities, but there are still a few to trouble the sensitive, and of course, Skyy can't stop you from failing to hydrate yourself properly.

quick question

What kind of proof do they need for self employment?
Thanks!
