dragon_spirit tells me that the Clue! folk told her that they loved my audition, but I was so flexible at all the parts that they had to cast others first for fear of winding up with a part unfilled. She thinks they were telling the truth too. That's comforting. I thought I'd done a good audition, but its hard to tell how biased I am.

Other good news: I am about to write the last question in another chapter, and then send it off to the editor. That will bring me to four chapters completed out of 24. Um. It's a start?

Positive: Well, if I can focus, I'm confident that I could get two, maybe three of these done tomorrow. Especially if I don't have to take a nap in the middle of the day to avoid feeling ill. But I didn't focus today in spite of not doing much else over the course of the day. :( I think these take about 3-4 hours of focused work per chapter, which is... still at least $50/hour. So I have no grounds for complaints; I just have to buckle down and do the bloody work.

Right. Question, and then nice long hot shower and sleep.
