I need boots I can wear the next time I go wandering in the woods.
I've got a nice pair of leather, waterproof boots but last time I checked they pinched when I wore them for too long.
Some have recommended Docs for this, and that has a certain appeal -- a nice pair of docs, once I clean off the mud, would also be great for going to goth clubs without killing my feet.
Any thoughts/opinions on shoes for wear in forests, etc.?
Also, where can I buy used Docs (or new ones, for that matter) at a reasonable price?

If you want something more interesting, I'm not sure where the cheapest place is, but (and this seems totally Wrong) I bought two of my pairs from Nordstrom, of all places, during their annual shoe sale.
I found a pair of red 8-eyelets at Ross for $16 but I doubt that's repeatable. :-)
