all bureaucrats must die!
ahem. Emailed verizon to ask what time frame we're looking at for the treo 600, pointing out that I'll be leaving them in a little over two months if they don't have a palm based pda phone by then. They sent me back

As someone on a website pointed out, if their testing process is so rigorous, how come the missed the faulty batteries on the kyocera 7135?
And also, at this point, if they don't shorten their testing process so that they are not always the last to come out with new technology, I expect they will start losing customers soon.
And finallly, even when they were offering the Kyocera 7135, it had become pretty outdated, yet they were still charging as much as for newer similar phones with different OSs.

Date: 2004-03-16 06:34 pm (UTC)stupit phone companies. Worst were the bastards from DoCoMo who love showing up at javaOne with phones that we won't -ever- see in the states...

Date: 2004-03-16 08:05 pm (UTC)Verizon seems to still be offering the 7135, online and at the Fremont hub store. Have they discontinued it in SF?
How has the 7135 become outdated? Because it's a Palm 4.1 machine instead of 5.x?
Argh. And here I'm thinking of bailing on Sprint for Verizon.
