Anyone have any idea what the best way to get to SFO for a 7 am flight is?

Anyone have any idea how to get from Seattle Tacoma airport to downtown? I am hoping there is a downtown hotel shuttle run by the many four stars in the area...

I have lesson plans for all of my classes for tomorrow, although my chem one is a little weak. I'm going to shower and wash the piercings, salt water them, and write a little more chemistry lesson plan, and then hopefully get some work done on that article for HEM. They want it for Monday! But its only a 500 word newsy piece, so I should be able to do that pretty easily; and there's only one source I have to get a quote from. I also really want to get started looking at the textbook job, and need to catch up on the stories I was working on for my old magazine.

oh, and for those following... camera girl has voluntarily transferred. All's well that ends well.

I took a two hour nap when I got home and I'm tired again already. I'm also hella hungry even though I think I've had plenty to eat today. Go figure.

Tomorrow I get home and immediately hit the laundromat. Once that's done, I pack. Once that's done, I either go to sleep real early, write lesson plans for when I get back so that I don't have to bring textbooks with me, or work on one of the projects with deadlines approaching. Busy busy busy. It'll be a working vacation but that's ok -- I think I like it that way.

This is me emphatically NOT recommending StupidShuttle. Quite honestly, I don't trust them not to fuck up any longer.

Given that you live in the City and assuming the 7am flight leaves on a weekday, use BART.

If you had no willing chauffer and lived farther away or wanted to catch a weekend flight you'd do as my mother will later this month and plan to sleep at SFO overnight.

No, that's just her. You'd take a taxi or reschedule the flight or rent a car (sometimes cheaper than a taxi) or look up the SamTrans schedule or punch it into 511.org.

check in the yellow pages, under limosine companies. There are several that offer air port shuttle runs (vans not limmos, but run my limmo companies for some reason). There is one on 7th near Folsom that I used where I was there, to good effect.

My recollection is that BART can't get you there early enough (ie 5:30-6ish). There is, however, a bus that runs at that time. It only takes a few minutes longer than BART, and its a few bucks cheaper.
