Feb. 8th, 2004 11:39 pmSomeone at the bday party I went to today told me he was glad to see with his own two eyes that I really was ok, even better than ok. (not his exact words but the gist of the conversation)
So I guess this is my opportunity to say, no really, I'm doing fine. I still feel kinda down sometimes. I still miss him. I still miss the companionship we had, and I'm still bummed out about the plans we might have had together that have fallen through because of the breakup.
But the amount of random depression I feel over this is no greater than the random depression I have on off days NORMALLY. Today at the party when I arrived I was positively bouncy and giggly. I got to show a bunch of people my piercings for the first time too. *grin*
Tomorrow I have to be at a doctor's appointment at 9:30 a.m. and then I have work. After that I will work out and then meet up with
emmettthesane to hang out, which should be fun.
Tuesday I have no plans but that's for the best since I really need to catch up on stuff -- processing, lesson plans, cleaning, and more.
Wednesday will hopefully be S&P and Thursday I'll be packing and/or cleaning my room and doing laundry.
Should be a good week, although my head really is reeling already.
My laptop is also really due for repairs. The battery doesn't hold a charge, the screen seems to be coming unglued and has some scratches... dunno what else. I'm wondering if maybe I should drop it off Thursday or Wednesday before I leave the city with an Apple Store... would it be done by Wednesday of next week? A week seems like it would be long enough if the nearest apple store does repairs. I have the AppleCare plan, so this should all be free too. Do I have to back my stuff up before I give the laptop to them?

Date: 2004-02-09 11:05 am (UTC)Sorry to hear about your screen. :(
And yes, you DO want to BACK UP any data you want to keep. I am told that Apple has a tendency to wipe and reinstall on the merest whim.

My email is melinspain2002@yahoo.com if that is easier. Rather not post my phone number on lj.
