Sometimes I can't help myself...
Jan. 25th, 2004 10:35 pmI wanted something to watch while I worked on lesson plans and was once again confronted with the nightmare stack of movies we have in our living room. See, we have this media rack for movies that we got for free. It fits about 110 movies. Between the three of us, we actually didn't have quite enough space on that rack for our movies.
Then one of the shelves on it collapsed spilling movies all over the place, and then a whole bunch of new movies were acquired. There were movies on the floors, on the couches, on the side table, on the floor behind the couch... it was crazy.
While the shelf has not been fixed (we've tried glue and it collapsed again, so I think it needs a nail or screw for the dowel that keeps on collapsing), I couldn't handle it this time, and I just reorganized them all. Not... by category or anything like that... I just put them all on the shelves and the ones that wouldn't fit on, I arranged in neat rows on the side table and the tv stand.
Satisfying. Very satisfying. Even if I can't quite afford the time right now.
