more piercing bounciness
Jan. 15th, 2004 11:05 amok, ok. Breastfeeding is not a concern. So its just cost, wimpiness, and hot tub deprivation which might impact my decision.
One more decision. The piercer says:
I have the 14g barbells in a really pretty shimmery light blue, and (I think) a solid black.
Any opinions on which one I should go for? She actually is wearing the solid black in 12g, so I can see what it looks like before I go for it. I'm a little concerned that it might look weird having these black balls stick out of my nipple. But on the other hand, black has major goth/fetish points.
But shimmery blue is shimmery, and blue is one of my favorite colors! Any opinions? I know in the end I'll just have to look at them and make the decision on the spot.

Date: 2004-01-15 11:24 am (UTC)You might want to consider rings or curved barbells for when you're first getting them done, as they'll be easier to clean (running soap and then water through the piercing, and/or bactine/saline).
My .02.
Just my $.02

The shimmery sounds way cool, but you can always buy new stuff in a year or two, right?

Date: 2004-01-15 04:39 pm (UTC)Just as a thought the black ones are coated with stuff that does chip off more than usual. Shiney colors are nice, but healing with rings or barbells (rings preferred because you can turn them more than barbells when cleaning) that are not colored is just a good idea.
Once they heal, you can put all kinds of cool black blue shiney sparkly stuffs in them.
But just be carfull when healing. Bras = best friend.
And if you do get the rings when pierced, flip them up when in bra because they are less pressurefull on boobies and less likely to try to do anything bad.
And you can get shiney blue or black or whatever balls on the jewlrey untill they heal. You can coordinate with your outfits!!
*hugs*
Miss you!
