So I may have discounted piercing available to me this weekend.
I'm contemplating getting one or both nipples pierced, probably with titanium because it is cheaper than gold.
I'm debating:
(1) Whether I should do it
(2) Rings vs. barbells to begin with
Any opinions or advice?

Because you're large breasted, you'll want to wear a bra as much as possible until they've healed. The bra helps hold them in place so they're less likely to migrate and/or reject. Be prepared to sleep with a shirt on until they've healed, sheets dragging across healing nipple piercings is not fun. Oh, and no playing with them until they are completely healed.

Date: 2004-01-15 07:05 am (UTC)As far as problems with breastfeeding, (if you ever choose to have children) it is, as far as I have heard, a myth that nipple piercings adversly effect breastfeeding. I have done extensive research on this in the past and have found no articles or evidence that having pierced nipples will effect feeding your child in any way. I also know women with nipple rings who have had no problems feeding their babies.
