cellphone-y goodness

For those who have been following the cellphone-y goodness, I thought you might be interested to know the info I've discovered:
(1) Any Sprint CDMA phone can be converted to a Verizon CDMA phone. It's kinda shady but can be done.
(2) Rumor has it that Verizon will be supporting the Treo 600 come May 2004. Unfortunately, by then it won't be long before the next Treo comes out...

I may still buy the 7135 if I can do it on a break-even-ish basis... when the Treo 600 does become available it will probably be well beyond my price range, after all.

I believe that, while this can be done, no one has ever been able to get data services to work with a re-provisioned phone. (Now that sprint has finally released the t608, i'll probably be sticking with them for a good long time, since no one else's data rates come close).

Oooh! Next time you're over here, let's compare notes. So far I've been unable to "social engineer" the sprint 6035 that somebody gave me.
