Good News -- Job interview!
The Hebrew Academy of San Francisco is interviewing me tomorrow at 11:15 a.m. They were very impressed with my resume. I am the last of the 5 candidates they are interviewing, and they will make the decision Friday. The gentleman leaving them is ALSO an MIT alum (giggles). It IS an Orthodox school, so I'd have to cover up and dress "modestly," but I think I can handle that, especially since other than that they expect to have secular, non Jewish staff.
If I got the job it would start January 5th, which would mean I'd have to curtail my Boston trip. Since I promised Cos I'd be at Arisia, I'll probably pay the fees to change my tickets to be there for Arisia weekend only, and just miss portions of Arisia to meet up with my close friends from MIT.
It's a part time teaching job, so maybe I won't need to be there friday, or something... we'll see what the schedule is like those particular weeks.

I'm looking for a copy of Two Towers Extended to watch Friday night. Anyone have a copy they'd lend me to watch at the Moonbase?

Is the Metreon showing it on iMax? It doesn't LOOK like it on Fandango but I could be confused.

Date: 2003-12-24 10:22 pm (UTC)As soon as I get home from Phoenix, I need to go see it again. I did Trilogy Tuesday in Baltimore. (They gave us nifty gifts! They duplicated the masters for the extended edition, sliced up the duplicates into individual cels, and gave every Trilogy Tuesday attendee a little souvenir stand containing one cel from each of the films. Mine has a Rivendell scenery shot, Frodo looking very determined, and Gandalf and Pippin facing Denethor.)
