quick query: New Years in San Francisco

Does anyone know about any nifty things going on New Years Eve in San Francisco?

unseelie and I are looking into options. We're about to make a purchase of tickets to a private event but before we do that, we want to make sure we're taking all of our options into account.

Anyone know about anything going on?

I asked the same question the other day because I was thinking of buying tickets to the same party you are, I believe... (The one being held by the people who run Slick?)

That being said, I expect that what you may be saying is that if someone is organizing a cool event which a lot of your friends are at, then you'd prefer to go to that.

Kirsten and I are thinking about ditching the idea of going to that party, and are thinking about organizing our own gathering. What could be cooler, however, is to get a bunch of people together from the poly community who would like to help organize something really cool for NYE.

I might post about the idea in sfpoly and see whether anyone is interested...
