Good food day; good day

I was GOING to write about how this is a good food day...

I foolishly waited to eat breakfast until it was put away, which meant no fruit salad, but it also means free bagel for me.
Lunch was steelhead salmon with a red pepper sauce, accompanied by a tuscany toybox (kinda like heirloom but smaller) tomatoes and bread salad. Extremely tasty for $4.
And then I discover there's leftovers, and while same thing for lunch and dinner is vaguely monotonous, food of that quality for an average of $2 a meal is just not something I can refuse.
And then tonight, there will be chocolate fondue. I tell you, its a good food day.

But then I was thinking... a lot of other things are going my way today. Or at least, some. Let me think.

-Not one wink of drama.
-Before I had a chance to admit to nytemuse that she had bought me something as bday present I'd already bought myself, she volunteered that if I'd already bought it she could return it and get a gift certificate. Bonus!
-A few nifty conversations
-successful research for my beloved (so far)
-a ride to S&P from tgeller...

These are all good things. :)

I am however still having strange difficulties with typing and writing in english. hmph.

Your bday present from me is forthcoming; I have the first two volumes for you now, and have been promised a copy of the third and fourth as soon as Diane finishes with vol 4 and gets it in to Meisha-Merlin. You should end up as one of the first people outside of M-M to read it, actually. And then of course there's also $40 and bragging rights, if you write up a publishable review. (You don't have to -- the books are yours regardless -- but it'd be much appreciated. *g*)
