danaerisThere was a power outage in the building again today... for over two hours. I finished my book, socialized with a few folk (including a weird and oblique conversation with one of the gay guys here about Folsom), and then started playing games on my palm. No sooner had I done so, then my editor came along and said he and some other guys were going to an event on Geary near the Clift hotel. Nintendo was showing off a bunch of its new games, feeding people free food, etc.
So we went, and I got to play some weird racing game that I sucked at, Super Mario Go Kart Double Dash, and some snowboarding game that I also sucked at. It was fun though. And the first time in ages I've played console games and not had my hands start hurting too much to continue.
Just a heads up... I won't be going to Sunset and Port tonight. Past few nights I've been enjoying some private me time and some private boy time, and it is needed. There's too much going on in my head and too much going on in the next... 1.5 months... I just needed to slow down.

arcticelf gets in way late Friday, Saturday we wander around the city, then meet unseelie for dinner and head to see Underworld (probably at the Metreon). Sunday, we're heading south to San Jose for some time with nytemuse. Who knows what during the week... and then Folsom, when unseelie will have at least one house guest, I will have at least one, possibly more, and we both have two friends visiting from out of town staying in a hotel. It's a lot.
And by the way, I would like to state thatunseelie is the bestest boy in the whole wide world. Not that the rest of you don't r0x0r a whole bunch in your own ways.
He's just so good to me and good for me... I feel that I win. :)
