Background: I danced for over a year on the Harvard Ballroom team about three years ago and danced in a few competitions. I have just gotten back into ballroom recently and am looking for a partner to practice international Latin at the Silver/Gold levels.

In search of: I am very technique oriented and like to focus on details. I am looking for partners with a strong commitment to being the best dancer they can be.

In other news, I have decided I need a fondue pot. Three, actually. One for cheese, one for oil, and one for chocolate. And then there will be fondue parties.

I really need to go find somewhere to prowl for new meat. Oh, wait, that's generally considered derogatory and insensitive to the personhood of others. I really need to find a location in which I can meet a wonderful person to share romance and sex with. That's much more PC, right?

(1) I hope you realize that that was a dance partner search and not a matchmaking thing.
(2) polymatchmaker.com is not bad, from what I hear. I certainly know people who have meet SOs through it, so if you can tolerate the annoying men from India who want you to be one of their housewives, you'll be all good.

I might end up playing some with the Gothic Sexchange, but I've found that I have the most luck with people just falling into my lap at random social events. It more a lament for lack of random social events in my life. . .

In other news, I have decided I need a fondue pot

Fondue pot? Hm...no promises, but ISTR my mother mentioning awhile ago that they had at least one they were getting rid of. I was vaguely interested in it, but we didn't have the room to store it in the apartment to make it worth it. I'll call her tonight and ask where it is...if it's in good shape, maybe we can work something out.

karenbynight and I picked up four very basic fondue sets at Ross lass year for like $10 each or something. I wouldn't try and cook meat in any of these (and so also wouldn't both with hot oil dishes) but they're super great for just about anything else you really want to do (cheese and non-cheese entree and desserts).
