Rockport Shoes:
Anyone out there want a pair of black women's Rockport walking shoes, size 8? I bought them and then discovered that they really didn't work well with my feet. For someone going through financial difficulty, they'll be free; otherwise, I'd want barter or money for them, but not much--I got them really cheap at an outlet.

Star Trek:
Anyone out there want a book about the Religions of Star Trek? I spotted it in the free stuff bin but didn't grab it.

DDR soft pad for PS2:
I still have this game pad from Mad Catz. Anyone want it, or should I bring it back into work and leave it in the free stuff pile?

Shower Shock Caffeinated Soap Verdict:
My editor thinks it works great. [livejournal.com profile] joedecker tried it and says it is like having about a half cup of coffee. So it seems to work, believe it or not.

Night Blooming/Chelsea Quinn Yarbro:
Found it in the book pile... looks like my kind of thing but I won't have time to read it any time soon. Anyone want to borrow it? Is her writing any good?

Cameras:
I will be bringing a review unit of the Minox DD1 camera with me to S&P tonight, along with my own Casio Exilim Z3. So anyone who wants to compare these two mini-cameras should ask nicely. I'll probably have the DD1 for the next week or so. If you care, you can contact me through the usual channels.
I think that's all... if I think of other things to add, I will edit this post!

Shoes
I'd love a pair of Rockports if they were in a style I'm willing to be seen in public with. (There's a part of me that thinks, "if you're willing to walk around in rainbow Docs with a hippie sundress, this shouldn't be an issue.") Some of styles of Rockports hit my "waaaay too straight for me" triggers.

And I'd like to imagine I qualify as "destitute" on the grounds that I'm more than 10K in debt... but in reality I've got some expendable money, and I've got more trade goods than I could load into a large truck.

(We have Kewl Stuph piled in boxes and buried under heaps of other Kewl Stuph. Unfortunately, it's also buried under heaps of Junk. And kiddie clothes that no longer fit the kiddies I got.)

Yarbro
Good author, probably very much your style. The only trouble with her books is that her publisher keeps a deathlock on the copyrights... there's a *beautiful* filksong about "The Bride of Saint Germain" that will never be released on tape or disc.

I'd ask about borrowing it, but I'm often terrible about returning books in a timely manner. I've got one of Eldri's right now, and I'm trying to avoid borrowing anything else until I get it back to her.

Well, if you have something you'd like to barter, that's cool. Otherwise, whatever. I just need to arrange to get them to you. They're black. Black running shoes, fairly normal style. No extra colors, just black black black.

Rats, and I was going to ask for that too... (I'm planning to get DDR whenever I get around to getting a PS2.)

Forgot to hand it over to you the other night... we'll have to try to get it to you another time. Maybe if you guys come by for Folsom?

Regarding Yarbro: Silly Questioner, Strange Horizons always has the answers to that sort of question. (Well, OK, not always. But I edited the review of that book. *g*)
